2006 Malibu 247 LSV – GatorStep Over-Carpet Transformation
This 2006 Malibu 247 LSV proves that you don't have to remove your existing carpet to achieve a stunning, modern look.
The original interior was in good shape but dated, bland and was always wet. Instead of the expense and labor of removing the factory carpet, we installed a custom GatorStep flooring system directly over the existing carpet, completely transforming the cockpit into a premium space that looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.
To complete the makeover, we also replaced the old, worn, and faded swim platform with a custom GatorStep design, giving the entire boat a cohesive, high-end appearance from bow to stern.
The custom Silver Cloud and Black GatorStep design perfectly complements the Malibu's styling, creating a clean, modern look while providing exceptional comfort, superior traction, reduced heat underfoot, and easy maintenance.
This project showcases how an over-carpet GatorStep installation can dramatically upgrade an older boat without the time and expense of removing the original flooring. The result is a refreshed interior that looks incredible, performs even better, and is ready for many more years of unforgettable days on the water.
